Pat Carroll shares electronic masterpiece 'Hope'.

Since arriving on the Australian music scene, Sydney electronic artist Pat Carroll has truly blossomed into his sound while maintaining an innovative outlook on production with each release - something that is once again on show with his new track 'Hope'.

On his new track, Pat delves deeper into his experimentation with electronic soundscapes but also, accidental meaning;

"I didn't really intentionally set out to make a hopeful track or anything. In fact, the idea of the track representing hope gradually came to be through the process of writing it. So when I built that section before the final climax part, I really wanted to express the idea of things falling apart and disintegrating before a new element grows out of it. I think that is my representation of hope"

In terms of inspiration, things have changed over the years for Pat;

"I've grown up thinking about the artists that influence me as being these people who are unreachable and on another level etc. But that's all changing for me now. The people who I'm really inspired by now are friends in Australia doing just as creative and innovative stuff."

Adding;

"...It's great to see this generation of artists rising up and putting out music that is of such a high quality, and are developing this unique and complex Australian sound. I've really noticed how the inspiration isn't only coming from only these bigger established artists from around the world anymore - I'm becoming so inspired and influenced by what's happening right here in Australia. I'm motivated as hell to contribute to this hugely creative and effective artistic force."
